Similac Total Comfort Ingredients
Since Similac Total Comfort is made for lactose sensitivity, the regular milk ingredients are being replaced with whey protein hydrolysate. Whey protein is hydrolyzed to break down the protein into smaller forms, so it can be easily digest by your baby. Since the lactose is mostly removed, Maltodextrin is used to replace it as the carbohydrate source while a mix of vegetable oils is used to replace the fat source.
