Since Gerber Soothe is especially made to deal with lactose sensitivity that cause your baby to becomes fussier and cry often, the regular milk ingredient is being replaced by whey protein concentrate from cow’s milk that have been demineralized and enzymatically hydrolyzed. Hydrolyzed whey protein means that the protein already been broken down into smaller pieces to ease your baby digesting it. Since the lactose is removed, the carbohydrate source is replaced with maltodextrin while a mix of vegetable oils is used as the fat source.

Similac Pro Sensitive is an infant formula from Similac manufactured by Abbott Laboratories. This infant formula is especially designed to handle fussiness, gas or mild spit up in infants due to lactose sensitivity. Even though lactose sensitivity in infants are common in infants and not a dangerous condition, it may disturb the baby’s sleep as well as the mother’s resting time. This formula is actually the advanced version of the regular Sensitive formula in its easy to notice orange package.
Similac Pro Sensitive is different from the rest sensitive formula for it is enriched with a substance called 2’ –FL Human Milk Oligosaccharide or HMO.
